Anyone else got it this bad?
This is a pond
A river you can see how high it should be
in west yorkshire across the moors its bad
uh-oh doesnt look good. how long before the news starts talking of doughts and hose pipe bans?
it wont be long if it carries on like this
might just take a wander to Ennerdale where we get all our drinking water up here this weekend and have a look now you mention it....but not seen anything as bad as that at the moment,
There is a place near me called 5 arches....because it has 5 arches where water runs form the lake under the bridge (that contain the 5 arches). Only one arch is dripping water now compared to the usual 5 that really splash it out.
The river at the end of my road is usually around 3 foot deep, 8 foot wide. it is now about 3 foot wide and barely a few inches deep
I have admittedly never seen it this low
all the daffodils are dead, and the trees are dropping brown leaves
We have had no rain at all for 3 weeks now. and i thought it was meant to be cooling down, it was still really hot today!!
I did notice yesterday that the leaves are rattling in the wind
My horse uses the trees in her field as natural shade, but its failing her.
This is the stream where I fly fish for Brown Trout, two days ago...
Get the water sprinkler out............
