I'd take any symptoms you read online with a pinch of salt :p
I used the NHS symptom check thing once and there was about 10 things that I may have, and all of them were really serious, when all I had was a cold :p
Nothing beats a doctors opinion :)

Many years ago, at the start of my nurse training, we were given a short talk on the dangers of medical text books. We were told the university's student health care team were fed up with students coming to them convinced they were dying...:)

After removing some very old and badly deteriorated insulation from the roof space of our house, thus evicting the 'little things' that had taken up residence within the material. I came out in angry looking raised lumps which turned out to be quite sore.

I too Googled the the symptoms only to discover my worst nightmare.

    I had contracted Bubonic Plague.

I was scared to death long before the disease ever took its inevitable toll on me!

Not surprised. A tip for wiki. Do your research.
