I had my piggie Dougie castrated on wednesday. Hes recovering really well, and its pretty much back to normal.
The vet also removed his extra toe, and didnt charge me for it.

The vet nurse fell in love with him, and its now having her male done so that she can get him a girlfriend.

Just 6 more weeks and he can go in with the girls.

The last pig i had neutered died in my arms just 2 days later. He never fully recovered and refused to eat, despite all efforts to save him. I was a nervous wreck wednesday, and so relieved he made it, and is eating and squeeking happily.

    He's the impatient one!

He can see and interact with them through the bars of the cages, and rumbles and displays at them. He already has a favourite, and Sprout is such a little flirt.

Hes changed so much in the month ive had him. At first he was terrified of everything, now he will come up to the bars to have his head stroked, and he never stuggles when i hold him. Just sits on my lap and chills. He seems to like being brushed aswell.

I think this is the first time he has interacted with another pig, and he is so vocal now.

He will have two. I took on a pair of unwanted girls just before xmas.

    I'll take some pics.
