Yes I do all our dogs nails, Milo have alot of fur around his paws, so I get a ladies pair of tights and nick tiny hole in the nylon and push his nails through the holes, and as I pull the fabric over his paw it takes the fur with it so I get a better view of his nails (Black) and I dont have to keep pulling the fur back each time I do a nail, it is done quicker too.

Some of ours have never been done, but some of the oldies and the house dogs nearly always need trimming - one of the downsides of having a dog paddock really

probably removed then, alot of working breeds have theys removed because of the damage that can be caused to them.

They are done at about 3 days old, as for the breeder asking you, you probably wouldnt have chosen your puppy that young.
