    this 2yrs yorky,
    muted at one yr.,
    8-9lbs
    9-10" ground to midle back.

she keeps rubbing her tummy vigourously on edge of her cloth bed as if masturbating.

Could it be that the operation was not effective & may be mated when not watched.

No dogs she meets try to mount her.

    thanx

Sounds more like an itch, is it possible she has skin problems?
    Do she seem sweaty

no skeen problems with itching, licking or sweating etc

this happens only at night when she goes to that bed with high sides.

believe it or not female dogs have been known to hump.

might be a number of reasons though.

just keep an eye on her and see if anything is setting it off.

    Hiya

Just to let you know i got my bitch spayed about 10 months ago. Before the operation, and still now, she likes to 'hump' pillows, or her bedding, or blankets!!! i think its just some sort of behaviour to show her dominance to that object or something!! As long as you have got your dog checked out health wise and there are no underlying problems, then its just natural behaviour.

I had my last Yorkie Spayed when she was 10 months old after her first season and she would always hump cushions right up to when we lost her at 16 years. I had my present Yorkie Spayed at 6 months and she has never done anything like this and is now 20 months old.
