    Hi,

I'm entering a dog show for the first time!

I have a query on the entry form and can't get hold of the secretary, off on his hols!

In the charges section of the form it states "Not for Competition £2".

    Any idea what this means?

If you are taking another (KC Reg'd) dog but not entering them in the show you have to declare them and pay.

So for example I take labrador 1 to the show to show but labrador 2 comes with me for the day out i would enter labrador 2 as not for competition.

Any not for competition dogs have to be over 6 months of age and KC reg'd.

Bigger shows will sometimes also have a specific area set aside for NFC dogs with their own benching in so they can have somewhere to chill just as much as the competition dogs.
