Hi, my three year old neutered Labrador started bleeding from his penis about 30 minutes ago, hes stopped now, but it looks as if something is sticking out, it looks vaguely like a clot but I'm not sure, does any one know what it could be? The closest time we could take him to the vets is tomorrow.

I'd get some warm water and try to clean in and see what's wrong. Some dogs can get the tip stuck outside the sheath and it then dries up and becomes sore. If you can see what's up and keep it from drying up that will help. Then see the vet tomorrow. Obviously if it bleeds again or you see something that looks serious ring the out of hours vets. You can always ring them for advice too.

Vets offer emergency service so I’d ring them now tbh
