Not the usual fireworks/storms, but a fear of something that is just odd?

Sandy is scared of tea bags! Like, $hit scared where she runs and hides with the whites of her eyes showing when she sees me making a cuppa tea. Not dry tea bags though, just wet ones.
I have no idea where she got this fear from as I have never chase her or touched her with a tea bag. However...she will happily drink tea?!! :eek:ut:

Teabags! Thats just odd haha :D

Ripley runs a mile when she sees (or hears!) tin foil or the broom...
I can't think of anything whatsoever that would have traumatised her, but she really hates them lol
I shouldn't laugh, but we have laminate floors so when she tried to scamper away she kind of just stays in the same place for a while until she gets traction

Jasper is sort of afraid of flies/ He does attempt to catch them, he stalks them when they land. The other day he caught on in his mouth ( one of those lazy slow land on everything type of flies!) He looked shocked  Opened his mouth, and the fly flew out

He then thought the fly had landed on his head as it buzzed by, and proceeded to hit himself on the head with his paw ( me and daughter were in histerics) Then he kept checking his back and tail etc for the evil fly :D
    He was so comical

Ollie runs away if you put an unknown plate near him. Think it's the reflective surface. Also, bin bags! He doesn't like black bin bags!

Flies, wasps and bumble bees. If she hears one she looks around and will either stay put or leg it. If they land on her or come near her she legs it.

Archie is really scared of the hoover and even the word. Poor boy just runs out in the garden and hides if he can, if the back door is not open then he runs in the opposite direction of the hoover.

Rupert was frightened of lines on the floor. I remember it taking me about an hour to get him past the swimming baths once because they'd repainted the lines showing the parking spaces.

Strange fears?Indie? Don't know where to start.
    Hates:
Aeroplanes at night with their lights on.
    Birds on the tv aerials.
Car headlights that catch on the white gutter boards (doesn't mind them on cars)
Strange objects - chip wrapper lurking in a hedge etc.
Men in manholes - must be they look like they have their legs missing.
There are more but I can't list them all :D

All these involve ferocious barking and backing away!

Zab is scared of metal bowls, if Mylo bowls is outside the back door Zab will stand and cry until you move it.

He's also scared of headphone

Mylo is scared of my hair clip for some reason. Zab wants to eat it and Mylo submits to it  I guess it does look like a crocodile :D

Shannow is absolutely terrified of men. She scared of any out of place object we come across when on walks, Wshe hates bags, fishing gear, cars, motorcycles, lorries, car doors shutting, the wind, cages, enclosed spaces and eating in front of me. She scared of the whole world outside but is very happy and comfortable indoors, so long as there are no men in the house. I assume she was never socialised as a youngster but I'll never really know because I rescued her from a death row pound when she was 18 MO and they had no history on her other than she was picked up as a stray :(

My other 2 are scared of the hoover but strangely Shannow is not.

Bizkit is scared of the broom.

Rudi absolutely cowers and shakes if we ever pass a butcher's, past the freezers in PAH and once ran into our garage after me but got level with the freezers in there and shook and panicked trying to get out. I can only think he's sensitive to something that they emit. He is fine in the kitchen with our fridge freezer though.

Initially I thought it might be do to with the smell of the meat somehow (death???) but the stuff in PAH is sealed. He is raw fed too.

Lyssa is scared of pugs  We met some with horribly loud raspy breathing before she had her cataract surgery (she was almost completely blind) and it freaked her out quite badly. She's still not keen on them now.

Fitz has a tendency to be scared of new objects but once he gets used to them he seems to play at being scared. Most recently I got a new tripod for my camera, whilst I was checking it out he would shoot off across the room any time I moved it then play bow and "rrrrooooooooooo" at it. He does the same thing with the clothes airer :001_rolleyes: He's genuinely scared of the mop because when he was younger he managed to pull it over onto himself.

It is certainly challenging sometimes when we're out and there's a lot of places I used to go that I don't go to any more because of how scared she is. Mostly I walk them up a public footpath through farmland where we don't see many people and she does love running in the fields.

    Elsa is scared of spiders.
She gets really freaked out if she sees one and runs away. Normally she has no trouble walking on any surface, but if she's just seen a spider she refuses to walk on any shadows/dark surface for a while, she must think the spider is hiding in the dark.

Gelert is scared of dalmatians since he was bitten by a dog that wasn't a dalmatian... but was roughly the same size, smooth coated and white with black markings. Not even spots. That is the only explanation I can think of for my uber friendly, confident, loves-everyone dog to have taken against this one breed.

Nope, just the usual things here. Todd hates anything loud, fireworks, jets, etc. Lucy is scared of the hoover. Katy isn't scared of anything, but she has a deep hatred for her tail! :p
