Got vet tomorrow so find out anyway but desperate to have more of an idea as I'm panicking. My cat ran away for 3 days about 5 weeks ago. When I got her back no place would neuter her in case she was pregnant. She's put on weight and this is the change in her nipples.
    Bottom right= 3 weeks ago
    Bottom left= last week
    Top one= today
    Any advice appreciated

Still see the vet tomorrow as planned, but my guess would be a yes, she is pregnant.

    I'm really surprised by this.
If you took her in straight away I see no reason for a vet to refuse to spay her.

Well, the nipples are quite prominent; I'm not an expert tho', not by any means.

I didn't take her straight away as I was just glad she was home, sounds ridiculous but it just didn't even pop in to my head until maybe a week or so after she was home.

A week of so after she returned home would still have been ok to spay.
It has happened now, you are going to have kittens, so you need to ensure a safe delivery.
If this is your first time, i would watch some online video's, so you know what to expect.
If you have any questions, do post and ask.

As CC has already said even a week later she still could have been spayed no vet would have refused simply "incase she was pregnant",but you now have to make certain that you do your very best for your girl and once she has had her kittens keep her safe until you can get her in to be spayed.

They definitely did refused. I also contacted cats protection for advice they also said it wasn't an option to spay her now and to get in touch when I know if shes pregnant or not. So I'll left it long enough that a scan can detect

That's not the Cats Protection policy I know.

I'd try some more vets as plenty do spay pregnant cats for population control purposes.

Please get all the kittens neutered before rehoming as well, if she is pregnant, to ensure the cycle stops.
You can take Mum and the kittens in together at around 10-12 weeks after birthing.

Smudge, happy to help your cat have a safe delivery, but please use this thread and not open other ones.
It is very important, with 3 other accidental litters being born, for me to keep track of which is which.

So, my first question is, how old is your girl?

Sorry opened new post as this post isn't actually mine or on my account. The first post was posted off by my friend off her account for me

Yes it is. I have added myself to a cat website and put a post on there save the confusion of using this post for everyone. So thank you for your help but you can remove this post too.

Not sure if help is required.
I can't find any new threads on the cat.

I guess no help is required as smudge is viewing how to delete her account.

Smudge is saying they have added themselves to a cat website and have put this post on there to save confusion of using this post for everyone. Which is even more confusing because this other cat website depending on admins set up everybody will be able to read.
