Yuki's done it twice lately - she tried to put Da Bird in her bowl, then today she popped her favourite sisal mouse in and trotted off. I wonder why she does it!

Any cats out there who do the same thing?

Both of my girls do it's not so bad in the food bowl but can be quite horrible when they leave something in the water Rosie did that with her kickeroo and it smelled disgusting as it dried :yikes:
Mai Tai has a little hamster-looking thing that has to go into bed with kittens and has to be fed with them so often ends up in her food dish

I haven't had that happen they tend to keep their toys in the lounge area.

Yes! All of mine do that, though it's funniest when they carry their rat toy around and drop it off at the food as though it's eating some too!

Neither of our two do this but Pepsi runs around with Ratty in her mouth as if trying to hide it . Ive not figured out if it is a "baby" to her or if it's "prey" she is trying to hide from Fanta lol

No, but Tiny brought his favourite toy mouse to bed with him last week and slept curled up next to it

Food bowls, water bowls, inside shoes and inside boxes tend to be preferred drop off points for their toys and treats.

It's always a pleasure putting my foot in my shoe and finding a chewed up thrive treat inside
