    I thought it could be interesting and fun for us to post a fact about dogs/a ceratin breed of dog, that we think others may not know yet. The person who replies to the previous post should say whether ot no they already knew the previously posted fact.

    So I will start....
    Did you know that dogs are not in fact colourblind. They can see a smaller range of colour than we can, but they can see colours such as blue and yellow. (Humans are trichromatic, whereas dogs are dichromatic.)

    The were not bred as fighting dogs but I have heard of them being used as fighting dogs.

    Did you know Malamutes can be pure white?

    did u knew when you speak about maturity, a dog that is merely one year old can have the physical maturity of a 15-year-old human being.

    for a short time but replaced with matagi dogs (mixed breed =japanese tosa etc )
    yes I knew about the muts being pure white
    did u knew
    dogs definitely have better vision at nighttime as compared to humans. This is because of a special layer that reflects the light, which is right behind their retinas.

    I never knew about the fighting till the other day, they are still used :frown: (never youtubeing again) and yes, pretty intresting though (also mals not muts, as purebred kc reg can be white :lol: )

    Did you know English springer spaniels were originally called Norfolk spaniels.

    did u knew on an average, at least 70% people all over the world always sign their dog’s name on a greeting card along with the rest of the family names.

    Yes and No, because they can't always have 42 teeth if they have them removed or in maya's case her's broke off :lol:

    Did you know Hachiko the akita waited 9 years at the same spot everyday for his dead master that he'd only known for a year.
