I said this 5 years ago, a day before Alfie was PTS :(

    Just the name has changed.

For the first time ever (that I know about) Archie has refused food. It's his driving force and I'm quite worried.

Oh no Rona, I do sympathise! OH and I have said if Bobby refuses food it's got to be serious and sure enough he did when he had pancreatits.
How is Archie in himself? Fingers crossed for the return of hs appetite.xx

He's lethargic, though no upset tum so far.
This morning I thought it was his leg, because we did a long walk yesterday and he'd eaten breakfast. A leg wouldn't stop him eating.
Even when he could only manage two steps, food seemed to over-ride it

Just an eye. There's nothing really to tell the vet.

He had a chew yesterday, quite a big one. I'm hoping that it's that, and will clear his system soon.

He was on top form yesterday

Oh no, hopefully something he gets over quickly.
He seemed to be doing so well with the swimming and longer walks.

Yes he was, and we were convinced the vet was catastrophising, though Archie did have a couple of off days last week too.

Maybe the vet was right, who knows, only time will tell

Hopefully it’s just something and nothing, but like you I worry when my goldens refuse their food

Maybe just an off day, we all have them as we get older sometimes the last thing I want is food, I think it's the same with dogs,. maybe he just wants some small tasty bits for now,

I've had Goldens for 40+ years and this is only the second time that one has refused food.

However, he went for a tiny trot around the road and came back much better and ate half a tin of Chappie :D

    Now flat out again
