Just got my letter from the bank telling me that my student overdraft will no longer be interest free as I am no longer a student and have had a year to earn money. So from 26th June and I will be charged £2 a day until its cleared.

I knew this day would come but  :crying:

    I hate banks!

Start shopping around for another bank prepared to take the Over draft (lloyds charge £5 a month plus interest for planned overdrafts) or if not a loan.

Halifax charge me a pound a day iirc for my arranged overdraft...when THEY lost my wages recently and i went over that, they charged me £5 a day...think Lloyds may be my next port of call!!!

HSBC are good. Lloyds I have heard and had bad experiences with.

Get a quote from your bank - DO NOT go on any find you a loan websites, some of them charge you for looking for loans .
Look at the cost compared to the Overdraft - I wouldn't of thought you'd be paying £62 interest a month on a loan. Also because a loan is a structured way to pay back it'll probably be paid back quicker unless you are very disciplined.
