Hi I’m just wondering whether I need to change the cuttlefish bone in my marginated tortoise enclosure. I’ve had my tort for 6 months and he’s had the same piece of cuttlefish in there since I had him. I never see him nibbling on it. At this rate he could have the same piece for years! I’d just like to ask someone who has more experience whether it should be replaced and how often I should do this. I’d also like to know whether I should use calci-dust or Nutrobal or both! I have been using calci-dust because he doesn’t seem interested in the cuttlefish bone.
