    Hey everyone,

Charlie went swimming yesterday morning, well actually he slipped off a ledge and fell into some water, came out fine and continued to paddle, but once he got out he had this "hacky" cough and has since coughed up foamy water.

He has had it for over 24hours now and is eating fine and playing too (they had a walk today around the field)

When should I worry about this cough? A friend said if it goes on for over 2 days go to the vet as it could damage his lungs?

Has this happened to anyone elses dog?

    Thanks for reading xxx

Flint fell in the river the other day.:(

He went right under, head and everything.

He was coughing and hacking when he got out but only for a few minutes and he's been fine since.

    Sorry if that doesn't help.

Aaaaw oh no! Poor Flint :(

Charlie was walking along the edge of the weir and I had a feeling he was going to slip, so I called them, he ignored me and slipped off the edge into the water, he seemed fine, he was happy paddling and walked back and carried on like normal bar the cough :(

Maybe Flint coughed all his water out? xx

I don't know whether he fell or was pushed. as I had my back to him.

All I heard was a splash, turned round in time to see the last bit of him go under, his head.:w00t:

He wasn't under long before he scrambled to the bank.

I didn't see any water come out when he was coughing though.
