Hi, this is my first post in this part of the forum.

I have a 70 L glass fish tank (60cm x 30cm x 40cm) that is no longer watertight so can't be used for fish. I've been thinking for a little while about getting a small furry of some description, and was wondering if it's possible to convert this tank into a home for a hamster etc, or if (as I suspect) it's just too small?

    Many thanks :)

In the UK, minimum hamster enclosure size is 80x50 cm of uninterrupted space. I believe this is true for mice, as well.

OK, thanks. I'd read some articles that indicated it might be suitable for a dwarf hamster, but that's why I asked here first - I never know quite what info to trust on the web, but there's generally knowledgeable folk here!
