I have tried natures menu which the dogs eat with no problem. But I switched a few years ago to Landywoods, the packs of food are bigger and cheaper than natures menu and they deliver to your door depending how much you order delivery is free

What's best is what your dog does best on and enjoys the most. Every dog is individual and what suits one best may not suit another. There is a raw food guide sticky at the top of this health and nutrition section, have a read of that.
My favourites are Paleo Ridge and The Dog's Butcher, but I get a selection from my local raw food shop and try new ones now and then.

Paleo Ridge. All my ridgebacks are on it. Never an issue with stock, quality or delivery. They also have some organic items such as chicken feet. I always purchase in bulk just to keep postage costs down throughout the year.

And, Sharon the proprietor of Paleo Ridge is extremely helpful. Had a good hour long chat with her a month back.o_O:)

I personally like the dogs butcher. The minces are quite chunky and not too pricey - plus the dogs love them :) though I often buy a variety of brands depending on whats on offer.

I recently bought Naturaw which is a nice dryish chunky complete . No veg or other supplements. My two Shih Tzus do like it but I will go back to Wolftucker they seem to eat it much better, and has more in it ie Veg and supplements. There are so many good quality ones available, Natural Instinct, Nutriment, Paleoridge ( not tried that one as it only comes in 1 kg packs and too much for my small dogs)
I should add that the service you get from Wolftucker is second to none and always willing to give advice whenever you need it.

Just par-defrost, split into smaller tubs, and refreeze. That's what cat people do all the time :)

Thank youTorin I do that occasionally but I also have to label it too. The other reason I was not favouring Paleoridge was a bit too chunky for my two. But thank you for your suggestion anyway.

My favourites are "Bulmers" feeds and WolfTucker.
The Bulmers meats are also supplied by a company in the south, delivering to the south "Davids Doggie Dinners Ltd".
Prices are very reasonable do look on "Davids Doggie Dinners" website for "Bulmers" Special offers!

WolfTucker products are fantastic , customer services are very knowledgeable and helpful.

Thanks for all the replies guys

Well, I’m now feeding nutriment Laverstoke park range, witch is a prey model diet, that’s just meat bone and offal, with occasional tripe.

Would I need to add supliments to make this a balanced diet?

With a good variety of raw product you should not need to add any supplements.

For hound dining enthusiasm, variety and quality: Paleo Ridge, Furry Feasts, Wolf Tucker. I don't like Nature's Menu complete meals and nuggets; they're like sludge paste. Put a bowl of NM chicken and beef in front of my greyhounds alongside a bowl of Paleo Ridge duck carcass chunky mince and see with they'll choose!

I do like the look of Paleo Ridge but I have 3 dogs 2 of whom are large breeds so it's completely out of my price range:)
I am using Durham at the moment it's a lovely chunky mix:)
