    Hi all,
i started a thread the other day about my lil ginger boy whos 20 days old.
my question is what colour is he?
iv never seen one like it!
He is a ginger tabby not sure what pattern yet with grey stripes on his legs, belly and tail????
have a look at the pics.
i have 3 ginger and white older males, 2 that where born here and they didnt have this nor did the other.
    any ideas?
    thanks.

It is a strange one, he seems to be red not cream but yet seems to have grey bits. He is presumably some sort of calico/tortie which is also a rare coloration in males.
    Mosaicism 3: Klinefelter Tortie Males

It will be very interesting to see his color when he is grown up.

The only genetic possibilities are those I wrote in my reponse to your previous post. Unless for those patches it some kind of break through colour. Red isn't a true colour, genetically the cat is either black or chocolate. You quite often find the odd or clumps of black hair in a red or blue in a cream, could be something to do with that. Other than that its print from the newspaper you have them on
