I am quite new to PF and would love to know who has either Border Collies or German Shepherds here. Pics would be welcome too :D

I have three GSDs and one BC. My hubby has six working border collies too :D

    My dogs

Flame - my 11 year old girl

Rip (on the left) my (approx) 10 year old boy with my lovely collie boy Moss, who I lost two years ago at just five years of age :(

Yogi - who is now 4 years

And last but not least Zak who is 18 months, with my son who is 4 years :D

Welcome to the forum (a bit belated!), what beautiful dogs you have! :)

I have a collie x rescue who people frequently tell me looks like he's got GSD in him.

I have a lovely 9 year old GSD called Trix, who we rescued aged 5

We also had her sister Gem, but she had to be PTS in April as she had cancer:( still miss her terribly, she was a fantastic dog in every way

I was brought up with border collies, though never thought I'd want one myself as I thought they'd be too full-on, but I'm slowly coming round to the idea of having one, as I've recently started agility & I love it:)

Your dogs are lovely! What a stunning boy Zak is, he is huge! No GSD's or Collies here. Just a crazy Lurcher and an old grumpy GSP. :) Welcome to the forum. :D

Zak is really beautiful :001_tt1: That's how a German Shepherd should look, in my opinion.

Thank you Vicki. I agree :D I always liked working line shepherds (my ex always had working line GSD police dogs) but I didn't consider owning one myself until I had a lot more spare time for training, exercise and just spending with the dogs. I now wouldn't have any other type :D
