Hi everyone. I recently received some goldfish that I’m now taking care of from a family member. There are two comets and one common goldfish. The larger comet has cloudy eyes. I tried using Melafix to treat it but nothing happened. It has nothing to do with my water quality, although obviously the water they used to live in was pretty bad. Even after coming to my place and into clean water, the eyes didn’t clear up. It’s been over a month now. I’ve now resorted to using a broad spectrum antibiotic that dissolved into the water and am hoping that will cure the fish, who I have in a separate hospital tank. Does anyone have any other tips, just in case this doesn’t work?
