Please excuse the winky eye, we are battling with an ulcer at the moment!
I didn't miss the irony of him posing with a best condition rosette with an ulcer :p

    Seems to be :(
His drops finished yesterday but he is still weepy and as you can see very winky too so I'm not convinced it has gone.
He holds it open a lot more than he did when the ulcer was diagnosed but something is obviously still bothering him so looks like we will be back to the vets.

    Poor boy...
Just thought I would share...I thought Maisie and Eevee had been playing too rough...and Maisie being able to fit Eevee's whole head in her mouth, it's something I nip in the bud quite quickly but the other day Eevee wouldn't leave her alone... Eevee's eye was slightly watery nothing major...following day woke up...looked ok...come the evening, vets closed watery she's rubbing it. Had a quick look nothing. However she was going to the vets regardless..to be told embedded grass seed. I can't believe I missed it...I thought I was just going to get eye drops and go but no it was so embedded she had to have a GA for removal. I saw nothing in her eye when I looked!! However I wasn't manipulating it like the vet...
So I hope poor Thai hasn't got anything like that as well! Eevee's just got worse through the day..watering and her eye closed slightly.

To think I told him when it looked plain sailing and practically fine, no more vet trips. Boy he doesn't half milk them at the moment!

The vet did check for a grass seed when the ulcer was first diagnosed (local anesthetic and a cotton bud) so I hope he hasn't picked one up in the last 3 weeks :(

Fingers crossed too...the one Eevee had was huge...but then she is a chi! Really embedded and I sort of see why a dog of her size can pick them up easily if places have been cut down, and they get everywhere! I was asked if I was ok, on the point of finding it, because it was embedded and there was blood... apparently it can cause owners to faint!

If it helps..the night before Eevee looked like her eye had a dent in it, she was pawing her eye and also being very cat like licking her paws then wiping her eye. I don't know if that's typical or she's just an odd bod!

Hmmmm.... He has been licking his legs after pawing his eyes. Although he hasn't pawed at his face for a day or two now o_O
I think I will see how he goes over the weekend and if it's no better by Monday then get it checked out again,

When Thai injures himself he does like to make sure he does it properly -sigh-
