Cinnamon Bug

    This pretty little guy is a Cinnamon Bug Corizus hyoscyami), apparently it smells of cinnamon. I have never seen one before and according to Google, they are expanding their range up the country from the South Coast and have got as far as Yorkshire.

    The last new thing I found turned out to be listed as a pest (Box Moth) but I haven't found anything nasty about this one. It was on an Aquilegia in the garden.

    It looks like it's a variety of shield bug which normally smell a bit stinky so that's good.
