I suppose the poor kids in the family need someone who can give them it's full attention, the'yre sure as hell not going to get it from their father now!!! Maybe they should just get Sarah Palin in!! (I didn't mean that as nastily as it sounded)!!

I'd love to be a fly on the wall watching a puppy crap all over the white house, maybe it could be renamed the sh*te house!!
I wonder who cleans up the corgies poo in the palace???

When my children were little we got a puppy fox terrier.
As a puppy - yes, good for kids, but tough character when grown up

In an interview, Barak Obama said that the puppy would have to be hypo allergenic - a gorgeous Cockapoo like mine would be perfect!!

The perfect choice for a family, especially if allergies are a problem!!

His daughter is allergic so yes a cockerpoo would be great and the american type rspca has now got involved and is trying to get them to rescue a pup!!!
Lets hope they do!!! If nothing else it will give good publicity to the animal shelters out there!!! maybe some good can come of this!!!

I agree Janice, a poodle would be ideal for them. Easy to train and a non shedding coat. And an adorable little face.:):D

Yeh i think it would say a lot for them if they were to take a rescue dog, and it mite encourage other people out there to rescue a dog in need, but they need ti find the right dog so that in a few months they arent taking it back to the shelter!!!

Fab dog, I do admit I prefer the Cresties to a Hairless as like my hairless pig I like a little bit of fur to stroke.
