I'm asking this, as I have no children myself, but, if I did, I would be hunting high and low for advice on how to keep my child 'computer safe'.

I noticed a member recently who said they were not moderated by their guardian, and I find it completely unbelievable.

I do not wish to offend anyone by this, let it be said!

It is only my opinion that the world wide web can be a dangerous place for minors. ( And, if abused, adults to an extent).

I have a niece, and would certainly take advice if she were older and wanting to use the net.

Do you moderate, if you have children?

I have to add, this particular member is under 13.

all the time the last time i let the rug rats on they wiped my favourites and some albums they didn't like of Itunes,

My son who is 8 loves utube, caught him once looking at the blow off ones:w00t:

My kids are 9 & 7 and every time they go on the computer i sit right beside them and don't let them click on something unless I say so! We had a virus in the computer before and if you clicked on certain things it was bringing up, lets just say things that kids should not be seeing

I wasn't moderated but up to the age of 15 there was a parental block or something on the pc

i was never monitored but you couldnt down load stuff unless mom put her password in. really annoying when you have a new game and cant load it on becuase mothers out. lol. mostly to stop viruses and stuff more then anything. my mom was either very trusting or stupid
