Im sure there is someone out there that has the answer.
I have 2 chickens -browns. They are around 20-22 weeks old (im a bad person i should know their birthdays).
All has been going well however one of them has started struggling with egg laying. I have done the epsom salt bath and that helps the egg come out but it smells like sulphur. This has happened twice in so many days. After the last time she laid a soft egg, then one an ostrich would be proud of. After that nothing for 2 days and today it was a struggle again.
Any ideas? I have started worming this week incase this is part of the issue.
    Sorry for the essay!

Are you feeding layers pellets now, rather than growers pellets? Layers pellets contain enough calcium to make the egg shells harder. You can also give oyster shell grit to try and help.
