Chewing gum stuck to Susie

    Susie came in with leaves and twigs stuck to her side and on close inspection it was suck to chewing gum! Grrrrrr! After a quick snip of the fur it was off but that's another reason why someone ought to invent biodegradable chewing gum!!

    Peanut butter is good for removing gum. Never tried it on a cat tho'. :rolleyes:

    I never knew that! I've also heard putting something stuck with chewing gum in the freezer but that wouldn't work with a cat lol!

    Yes the freezer thing is a bit impractical. :D Swarfega works too I think, as it's magic. My OH told me about peanut butter. Seems bizarre, but apparently it's true.

    Baby oil.

    My brother once explained in minute scientific detail why certain oils will remove things like chewing gum and tar...

    after five minutes I did this...

    Lets just say it works.
