Cherry eye operation

    Hi all, wanted to ask if anyone has had there dog in for operation for cherry eye recently?

    i wanted to know your experience and what the outcome was like.

    i have read everything there is to read on the internet regarding cherry eye, so i just want to know details from when you took your dog to the vet and then picking him up please.

    worried as you can see, his my boy and hate the though of him going under.

    My boy had the operation done when he was 1 and a bit. He was completely fine afterwards:) We collected him from the vet the same morning we dropped him off if I remember correctly

    Your dog will need to where an E-collar for 2 weeks after cherry eye surgery to prevent scratching the eye while it heals.
