Charlie is a gorgeous Terrier of almost 7 years. He is a handsome chap and incredibly lovable.

He has been handed into us from a family that have cherished him since he was a pup but due to a change in circumstance, have had to part with him.

Charlie is a very active boy and loves long walks and playing football. It can take him a little while to get to know you, but once he does is incredibly loving.

Last October Charlie was diagnosed with diabetes. He is now on twice daily injections of insulin and is fit as a fiddle. These injections will need to be continued for the rest of his life. They can be provided and demonstrated by any good veterinarian. I cannot repeat enough how healthy and active Charlie is - his diabetes does not affect him as it is controlled by his injections.

Charlie gets on with other dogs but is a little worried by noisy ones. He is also good with children but he cannot live with cats.

Charlie is on foster in the Rhondda in South Wales but we home across the UK.

Charlie has been staying here with Phil and I for a while now. He is an absolute darling
his diabetes and subsequent loss of sight don't bother him at all

He loves to have balls to play with, he adores Phil and the grandchildren and just enjoys life to the full.

here is a video I managed to get of Charlie having a dip in the tadpole pond on Sunday

Charlie is doing well, his diabetes is stable and he's on his insulin twice a day.

Charlie is a fab little lad and a real character! His lack of eyesight doesn't bother him or affect him enjoying his life.
He has a great sense of smell and his hearing is very good, so these compensate for his lack of sight (he can tell the difference between light and dark).

He loves his toys and can sniff one out from under the sofa, or anywhere else he has lost one!

Can anyone offer this wonderful boy a home?
