    i have a cat and a dog, but they are afraid of coming upstairs - can i still keep a hammy up there?the door to the upstairs is shut most of the time.:eek::eek::eek:

    and don't come to me with all of my past threads etc its all sorted now and this one is the only one thats still valid

    you still have an untrainable dog. put your time and effort into training her before getting more animals.

    I have my rats upstairs in our spare room, in cage! My dogs also come upstair but don't ever bother the rats and if they do the ratties tell em where to go. ha ha

    If your dog and cat aren't near them i don't see the problem
