Hi, my cat has a wound on his neck and I've got no idea what it has come from. Can anyone indicate what the next steps of action would be? Is it a bite?

Having done some research it could be cuterebra?

I have just booked an appointment with a vet.

    Thanks in advance.

Looks like a puncture wound from a bite or claw. Definitely needs to be seen by the vet as there could be an abcess there too and you will need antibiotics

Yikes! Off to the vets you go! Good call making the appointment right away.
