Hello our very vocal cat has been in the vets over the weekend for tests and fluids!
They’ve said he was very vocal and they had to sedate him This morning just before we picked him up to get his drip out! He’s eating drinking and going to the loo as normal , and purring when he gets attention but he looks spaced out and has only meowed slightly once! Worried he’s not recovered from the sedation or his still shaken up by the vets stay which was a first for him! Any advice would be helpful! He’s usually meowing a lot!

Sometimes they come back with a sore throat after having a tube down there during sedation. Looking spaced out is probably from the medication, but this should resolve over the next 24 hours. If you think his symptoms are not getting better, best to check with your vet.
