Hi there. We have 2 Norwegian forest cats.
I decided to let them have one set of babies.
    I have homes for babies.
But they must have mated 10 times in 24 hours and my female is still in heat 3 days later? Is this normal? Is she pregnant or could she not be? How long does it take to stop the heat? She's desperate.
    Male not interested anymOre?

It's perfectly normal. A female's calling period isn't shortened by her being mated. She may continue to call for another week. I would strongly suggest you separate them in case he decides he is interested again (which is likely) - you don't want matings to be spaced so far apart for obvious reasons.

Do you not have the breeder of either cat helping you with advice, etc?

Are your cats registered active? If so, you should really have a mentor.
