Cat nip

    Why do cats like cat nip? I just bought some and made some toys with it in. Billy (3.5) rolled and dribbled all over it for ages!;)

    I made the mistake of leaving Harvey's bag of catnip on the sofa once ... in the pic is what I came back to find!!! :rolleyes:

    He was fast asleep .. clearly he'd had some fun .. I did have to laugh :laugh:

    Mine don't really react to it! Just a bit of a face rub, that's about it!

    In the wild the boy cats eat it then sick it up and roll it in to make them smell attractive for the girl cats!! I cant rem what breed this was but its a wild cat, watched a really good film on it, quite interesting! :) :eek:
