Cat metacam

    Hey all I just gave my cat an extra half of 0.2 MLS then he should have had I hope he will be ok. The vet gave me a syringe to give it to him in his mouth and I pushed to hard. I'm so worried at the moment does anyone know the signs or symptoms so I can tell if I need to rush him to vet. Please help

    Metacam syringes have numbers on them which equate to the correct dose for numbered kg in weight of the cat, so 5 is the dose for a 5kg cat. Can you be more specific about what you dosed?
    The best thing to do is call the surgery as soon as it opens and check with them.

    Hey it doesn't have kgs the syringe is just 1ml and he's only aloud 0.2ml and I gave him half more

    I think you need to call the vet who dispensed the drug
