I did that in Lanzarote I only had one non-fish or seafood meal the whole time we were there (and that was Iberian pig cheeks, which I would never cook myself). Enjoy

We had "salt and pepper" pork belly for tea. I've never cooked it before and it was very yummy. 2.5 hours in the oven, jersey potatoes, carrots and tenderstem. Oh and gravy. I was hoping there would be some left but someone ate the three spare slices as it was so nice he said.

 

Just had scallops, prawns and chorizo in olive oil with garlic and paprika in a fantastic cafe in Tarbert- twas delicious!!

 

That looks delicious @DolomiTTe I love scallops (though so often they are over cooked).

I had fake paella - quite nice (much nicer than it looks). Chicken instead of prawns as didn’t have prawns in the freezer. Got enough for tea after work tomorrow, too, save me cooking I’ve got some more chorizo to put in it though, as someone who shall remain nameless picked out rather a lot of it. Heh.

 

It was mussels for lunch today from Skipness Seafood Cabin. I do an annual pilgrimage there as it's superb. If you're ever in the Loch Fyne area of Scotland, I'd highly recommend it. Simple food, but well done and delicious!

 

I just love mussels 😍😍😍 a really simple but delicious meal.

I'm in love with my gadget. Been trying all sorts of combinations. Corned beef and potato my fave so far

 

I remember when Greggs used to do a corned beef pastie, I loved them. This looks great @BarneyBobCat - I’ve not used my normal crimpit yet, though. Maybe I will.

It's super easy - tin of corned beef, half a tin of new potatoes and my top tip is to season with a beef oxo cube. Mash it all together - you will get enough for two wraps! Probably four of the thins things (D will need at least two if hes like me!)

In Santorini for a few days, I get to eat my favourite food. Love the Greek salads and moussaka.

Oh yes the tomatoes are amazing. I don’t eat seafood so can’t comment on that, but everything else is lovely.

Mmmmmm. We had gammon tonight, crinkle cut chips and I had an egg AND pineapple (real pineapple though, not tinned rings).

It was blooming lovely

 

You and bloody fruit on your food 😜 not for me, but the gammon egg and chips sounds lovely 😍 now tell me, what veg goes with pineapple 🍍 ?

 

I would eat all those combinations..... sans pineapple! Fresh pineapple on its own or with other fruit is fine.

I only like fruit with cheese 😉 definitely NOT on pizza!

 

BUT I have half a water melon in the fridge that I'm going to try charred with salad and feta. It apparently changes the texture and taste.

 

Fresh watermelon with cucumber mint and feta is utterly delicious!!!! I love fruit in salads 🤣

Oh and tuna and pineapple pizza is delicious too!

 

You should deffo do the watermelon and feta thing. Again it's the sweet and salty combo that's so good - so pineapple with gammon/teriyaki sauce and the watermelon with feta in the same vein.

Cheese and pineapple hedgehog is one of my favourite buffet things
