Whole grain rice salad today with spring onions, beetroot, radish, feta and a drizzle of balsamic. Served with a bit of chilli chicken.

That's a fruit salad with meat/fish Fruit in my food is not for me, although I do love grilled/griddled watermelon.

I bet the seafood is fantastic there, lucky you! 😋

 

Last night was sashimi and then a crispy prawn, rice, sauce thing. Nice - and very very salty! The food here is really salty (which I like), probably due to the heat. So expensive though!

 

Delicious dinner this evening - I had squid (should have had the garlic prawns but I didn’t know they’d be shelled, I CBA peeling them), then stone bass, then shared a cheese platter with pal (which was on the starter menu but we had it at the end). Pink fizz, all good

Also noticed I’ve had fish or seafood for every single meal out. No meat at all. I do love to have things when I’m away/out that I wouldn’t do for myself at home. I rarely cook fish/seafood as D doesn’t much like it.

 

Not exciting but I really enjoyed it as no heat involved 😂

I've never dared cook a T Bone on a barbecue in case I ruin it. I've perfected it in my cast iron griddle pan so tend to stick to what I know is safe. Had one as a treat last week from a farm shop - twas delicious!

Potato, onion, courgette, pea and smoked cheese frittata tonight. Very nice, but very filling. Less potato I think next time.

Been in Corsica and France the last couple of weeks so not much to report but did have a lovely lunch a couple of days ago, omelet and poke bowl

Now sat on the ferry from Corsica back to France after eating 1 packet of crisps, meat and cheese selection and 3 glasses of wine 🙄🙄🙄🙄

The Great Black Hunter didn’t bring me any presents today so the food supply was reduced 😢
