    Hello,

We recently took a new cat to be boarded with us in our home...The circumstances were quite unusual in that the cat did not want to go in the carrier so the owner suggested stuffing it into a bag. We rejected and eventually it went into the carrier. We insisted on the forms being signed and taking relevant documentation. Though I get the feeling the male owner would knock us out when he finds out.

However on returning home the cat has now gone up the chimney...We do not have access to the higher floor but we imagine we would know if it had surfaced.

We are insured and have boarded many cats but unfortunately this one has gone up. Obviously our main concearn is the cat (we have put hot smelly food at the base)..what should we do?

    Are we to blame?

you may find the cat will return back down the chimney when its all dark and quiet tonight, they normally do.
then block the chimney maybe with a piece of cardboard or a different room if you can.:)
