whats the earliest age they can be done?
It depends on the vet, ours won't do them earlier than 5 months.
Ours will do them around 14 weeks (providing they are big enough).
It depends on your vet and then it is done by weight rather then age. The kittens have to be at least 2kg in weight
Our vet said 5 months but wanted to check the cat over before he will book them in.
the vet i go to wont do them until they are at least 5 months old but prefer them to be 6 months
our vet has advised that we have our little girl done at 5 and half months and our boy at 7 months, although they did say if Sid was getting a little <ahem> boisterous that they could do Nancy at 5 months.
I got my cat spayed at 6months, I think you can do it earlier but 6months seems the normal age
5 Months here x
Charlie is 20/21 weeks old and Lola is 17/18 weeks. They are both having their operations tomorrow!
