can you give nutri drops to pregnant dog

    hi i was wondering can you give these drops to a dog that may be in first stage of labour? and is it safe

    I gave them to maisie after 1st puppy was born, then inbetween pups, they give them a boost, so should be ok to give now

    Yes but I much prefer a dollop of glucose on the tongue.

    ok, she just seems to be really really quiet and i want to make sure she has some energy for when it does happen, saying that thats prob y she is resting lol

    im going to sound dumb but what would a dollop of glucose be i know you can get a powder for people but......

    I wouldn't give it to her whilst she is resting as she will get a boost then she will be more tired than before. Its a bit like getting high then then crashing twice as far. After a few ppups when she starts getting tired then give.

    You get it in the baking section of tescos its in a small jar and looks like a clear syrup.
