Do I have to give 2 months notice if it doesn't state how long I have to give in the contract?

I would think a month. It doesn't state a notice period in your contract?

I'm having someone proof read it. It says in my cat contract I have to remove her 2 months prior. He has to give me 2 months notice but it doesn't say anything about me. I won't be giving him any nice things after the way he treated me today. He can have his month notice that's required by law. Aparently I can leave on the last day of my tenancy with out giving notice. Acording to Shelter as it's fix term.
