can anyone please help???

    2 of my rabbits have gone very thin and losing their fur and also 1 g.pig they are fed twice a day cleaned out 1-2 times a week and given fresh water everyday. im a bit worried as 1 of my other g.pigs has passed away 2day:sad::sad:. does anybody know what it might be???

    are they balding or loosing a lot of fur? are you sure they are not on a mault from the winter?

    What do you feed them and how much/often?

    Do they scratch a lot? If so it could be mites, see this link

    I'd be inclined to pay your vet a visit though to get a definitive diagnosis and the appropriate treatment.

    they are balding. 1 is losing it off her head only and the other 1 is on its side. i feed them in the morning and then in the evening. i have had rabbits for a few years now and never had a problem like this before.

    mites or ringworm?? are they sore or scabby? I'd get them to a vet to make sure..

    thank you for that link tink82 iv read it and could be passed by cats. we have had a few cats wondering around the past week. i will give my local vet a ring in the morning
