Hi everyone, just wondering if any of you have been camping in NORFOLK with your dogs and if so whether you could recommend a campsite to us, we have been camping before but always had dog sitters in but this year as we havn't got our old boy (bless him)we are considering taking our 2 with us. I tried to book hunstanton but they have a one dog policy in the school holidays and our tent is 30cm too wide for sandringham camp site!!!

Please help if you have been anywhere with your dogs and have been very happy, we would love to go to the norfolk coast really as it is not too far to travel as we live in cambridgeshire.

    Thanks again.

Shame, must only be peak times in summer then or a recent rule as our friends went down at spring bank and they took 3 dogs.

Have fun and allow me to give u a tip....
Hopefully u have a built in ground sheet or are able to secure ur dogs safely while u are asleep. As when I camped with my 3 the 2 smaller dogs disapeared......we found them eventually pinching food out of other campers tents:eek:

My son and I went camping a few years ago in Yarmouth. We took Willima my greyhound with us. We weren't on a sight though as I have a friend who lives down there so we camped in her back garden. Not really much good for you but there are some lovely walks to go with your dogs .We were near the estuery there was a nature reserve there and you could walk dogs as long as they were on a lead.

Woodhill Park at West Runton is also good - they've got a field with long grass, and some paths especially for dogs to run around in!

My Auntie has a holiday home in Weybourne (where Kelling Heath is) and theres a wood that they walk their lab round, and if you get to the coast you can walk to Sheringham along the cliff tops - its lovely!
