    Hi Everyone,

I am new to this forum and this is my first posting. I am currently contemplating getting a Cairn Terrier. I just have one question as regarding grooming. I absolutely love the way they look when they are puppies (short coat), is there a way to maintain their coat at that length without ruining it? I know that clipping it is frowned upon. If it can't be kept short, then is there another breed with similar characteristics with a shorter coat?

    Thanks

You can keep cairns in a short clip I would recommend getting them hand stripped rather than clipped.

Welcome to the wonderful world of cairns they're great little dogs.
