Everything is so commercialised these days and, because it is, it tends to take the shine away from all these celebrations.

Pancake day, for example, is nothing special anymore, because the supermarkets stock flour, milk and eggs all bloody year round.
    It's ridiculous.
You can buy chocolate eggs all year round thanks to companies such as Kinder. I'll tell you what the surprise is, the chocolate.....it's sh1t!

Honestly, whoever invented easter ought to be bloody well crucified!

When I see it alongside others of its type, I really start to notice just how short it is. Sometimes I wish it was a little bigger, but it does what it needs to do. At least it can easily get into tight spaces, and get out when necessary. It's actually pretty quick when you need it to be.

What do you think I'm talking about?

So this a place where we can say "Hi" and "Bye" to each other, and we can also chat in between games and make new friends here. Right. Hi! Long time no see, Zaros and FeelTheBern. You talk about Easter. Now? Maybe I leave you to it. Bye.

I bet it's not the Lexus NX Hybrid, which is just a mountain of misshapen metal. I might have expected more from Toyota, but after the recent Auris and Avensis face lifts with all those harsh lines competing with the i40, I suppose anything is possible.
Except the likelihood of one ever been stood on our driveway.

The NX's sister model, the RX, is currently a Which? Best Buy. It's also their number one large SUV at the minute. Oddly enough it's a right petrol gulper which isn't what you expect from a hybrid.

The thing I was describing in post 542 was the Skoda Citigo.

    P is for Patience.

And I'd say, the man must have the Patience of a bloody saint.

I'm not sure I would have sat back for so long to be honest. My philosophy is; wheels were made round to go round, and if they're not going round when they're supposed to be going round, THEN THERE'S SOMETHING VERY PHUQIN' WRONG! :Rage

Quite obviously, by now, you have successfully managed to find the log out facility. ^^^ up there a bit and to the >>> right where you click or tap on your screen name for the drop down option box thingy)

And, by the way, you weren't actually disturbing me because, truth be known, I've been disturbed for many more years than I care to mention.

But mainly because of the antics of the human race in general. The vast majority are all quite mad you know, and those few who aren't, just aren't very sane at all.
Such a stark realisation makes one crave death just for the peace and serenity of the grave. Cold though it is said to be, it is obsidian in darkness, exquisitely silent and your immediate neighbours, who share your same desire for eternal tranquility, won't disturb your well deserved slumber.

    GIP. RIP.:)

But sounds like I may have disturbed you (?)
    But I couldn’t have disturbed you (?)
Sounds like.., sounds like ... or sounds like?
Oh I’m disturbed! (?) But then you told me I was already.
Oh dear, oh my, oh beagely-beagely.
I need the log out button, help, where is it?
Sorry to disturb you but where is the log out button?
Oh I’n not disturbing you, or I can’t disturb you (?)
    (????????????????)
But if I find the log out button i’ll no longer be disturbed (?) is that right? Whoops, sorry, I’m a noisy neighbour.
But I’m (?) ....HELP, the other chap? Shall I ask him?
Sounds like a trap- to ask the other guy.
I could disturb him and ask, but will I be disturbing him, if he’s already disturbed (?)

    This ^^^ disturbs me.

    Greatly. :Nailbiting

So greatly am I disturbed, the moment I submit this very post, I'm off in search of the Panadol. Not the 500mg size but the magnificent 1g.

The pharmaceutical company claims 'Just one is enough to soothe your troubles' But let's wait and see what happens. Which might I run out of first, water or Panadol?

Incidentally, I see you have cats.:Watching In which case you may or may not find the following of interest...

It's been proven that 9 out of 10 single women who sit at home to hold conversations with their cats are disturbed.

Our Oscar, that's him in my avatar, :) is teeming with knowledge and useful information just like that.:Smug

A few days ago I fell asleep after accidentally leaving YouTube on autoplay. When I woke up, some time later, the video that happened to be playing was Atomic by Blondie.

What do you think? A hint at what is to come, or just my brain being strange?

I don't know, but I gave up falling asleep to music when I was a teenager after waking up to a Marilyn Manson hidden track of a gun barrel rolling over and over (antichrist superstar maybe? Or Holy Wood...) I found it quite disturbing at the time!! I also woke up to Eurotrash often and anyone that remembers that would know it would be a confusing environment to awaken to ;)

As an aside.... are hidden tracks still a thing??

If you're interested or intrigued by the secret or ghost tracks that might be hidden amongst your music collection, simply type the artist's name, the album and the words 'hidden tracks' into your browser.

Although I find Marylin Manson to be a highly interesting individual, his controversially entitled album 'Smells like children' is the one that led me astray.

Contrary to the message I believed he was trying to convey, when you actually boil them up in a pot and serve them like a stew, they do not taste like children.:(

So, you think this is a cool thread, yet all you have to say is; 'Hi. Just stumbled upon this cool thread'.

Not much of a 'CHATTERBOX' are you.:Watching

As a matter of fact, I do.

Unfortunately, I'm not at liberty to publish their name because, I have it on good authority, they'll have a proper sh1tty fit.

And we wouldn't want that, would we.

    Would we?o_O

Maybe I could nominate them as Horrid member of the week...

    Every week.....

    Until 2019.:Smuggrin

I'm afraid you're going to have to understand something about this forum, and you're going to have to understand it pretty quick if you want to stay around. Sometimes you don't always get a reply to anything you might post. Sometimes it takes a while, and sometimes you might get a response almost straight away.
It's a bit like fishing in that respect.;)
In the meantime, and for the best results, might I suggest you endeavour to continue tapping randomly away at your keyboard to keep things moving swiftly along.
I'm sure you'll be quite surprised by what eventually comes out of the end of your fingertips.
I know the prosecution, the judge and the jury were at my last trial and, to be quite open and honest about it all, I don't think my defence team were all that convinced about me attempting to justify my reasons for producing such inflammatory material either.:Facepalm

There's also something else I think you ought to know; should you ever form the impression that members don't actually like you, and that's the reason no one responds to your posts, think again.
Or at least take it from someone well versed in being disliked; if you're not liked you'll soon be aware of it because the dislikers won't hesitate to seize upon an opportunity to post a response in an attempt to wind you up.:D

    Your move, chuck.:)
