were on countdown lol thought it was funny ealier as bustle likes to bury herself normally so i put her some stuff in a cage just so she can dig around and as i say this is normal for her ,but all the other dogs ears pricked up when she started doing it ,you dont realise how tuned in they are

thought i'd tell you what happened at the vets as i'm sitting here bored ,vet managed to pull a very big pup out and was swinging it in a towel trying to get her going ,and the poor thing flew out of the towel hit the ceiling then landed on the weighing scales ,i almost felt sorry for the vet ,he then dissapered ot the back for about 1/2 hour trying to get the poor pup going ,there was a heart beat but she wasnt breathing ,
then my old vet who lives above the surgery came down (12am)the young vet was being extremly patient and saying the next pup was comming down ,and old vet started badgering saying "well ceaser or taking her home "
so we came home ,2 live pups so far

    Any more news?

Sorry to hear about the pup you lost. I think I would be having a word with the vet about what happened with the pup.

How are things going ? It's been a while since your last post.

I would be quite disgusted with the vet for what happened

So sorry to hear about the first pup..and good on you for not blaming the vet..any one that has had to deal with getting a still born breathing will know just how hard you have to shake them around..Clearly its was an accident, even in a towel the pups are still slippy..
Also he tried a very long time to get the pup breathing..The rule is only 4minutes..if you get a still born breathing after 4mins its a VERY high chance of pup having brain/organ damages

Glad to hear you have two alive pups going strong..Also that mum is doing well.

Thank you for keeping us updated!
