I took my bun (who is 10 and had been treated for snuffles, he did have breathing problems due to snuffles, but was doing ok ) to the vet as he had bad sore on his mouth. This wasn't my regular vet, but she weighed him, had a look at his mouth and said maybe should be pts. She took him to show another vet and returned to say all agreed should be pts. They assured me my regular vet had agreed this too, and I felt no other option but do do this. I called regular vet next day, and he said he hadn't seen my bun. I feel so guilty and don't know how I can deal with this.

They said didn't know what sore was on his mouth and because he had lost weight and breathing issue.

So sorry for your loss. It's always harder when it comes out of the blue like that.

Run free at the Bridge gorgeous bunny. Deepest sympathy for your family.

When you're walking down the street
Memories of me on your mind,
    I'm walking in your footsteps
    Just half a step behind.

    And when the time comes
For you to go from that body, to be free
    Remember you're not going
    You're coming home to me.
    (Unknown)

A million times I've needed you
    A million times I've cried
If love alone could have saved you,
    You never would have died.

In life I loved you dearly
In death I love you still
In my heart you hold a place
No one else can ever fill.

It broke my heart to lose you,
    But you didn't go alone
A piece of me wen with you,
The day God called you home.

I know. They made me cry the first time I read them after my dog was PTS last year. But in the tears, lies comfort. Let yourself grieve and be kind to yourself.

    It will get easier.
