Bunny colours

    Hi, if you mixed a ginger lionhead and a Blue chinchilla lionhead, would you get some of each or would you get ginger with blue bits in, thanks kerry

    it depends really, buns carry 2 colour genes each so they can pass on either but then some are more dominant to others. genetics are a wonderful confusing thing :D

    i bred lily a opal butterfly to a blue otter and the kits were 1 opal butterfly, 2 fawn butterflies 1 blue otter 2 opal's 2 red eye whites

    ive mated mid a black/sable to the blue otter and have got marten sables black otter self black and 4 red eyed whites.

    its just the luck of the draw.
