Dont think that you not being assertive is the problem here, they are the ones with the problems not you. Do you have to associate with these people or can you avoid them? Dont worry about them seeing what its like, karma will come round and let them know exactly what it feels like to be bullied.

Dont let anyone physically touch you ever, grab a bottle and whack them one if you have to, but your not a punching bag, demand they back off by using force. As for emotional then same thing, tell them to piss off and look in the mirror.

i need to stand up for myself more dont i??
Maybe they think i am too much of a pushover ,
    think i am tho ,
once a while ago i did stand up for myself and slapped this girl round the face ,unfortunatly she came back with her brother and landed me one in the head .
so i guess i lost my confidence after that

Not sure if this will help but you could always carry around a pepper spray or something, so that if you stand up for yourself and they try and hit you again you could fend them off

You might amaze yourself with the power you have you know! My brother used to beat me up because of his mental problems, then one day I got him against the wall, hands round his neck and battered him. He never beat me up again!

I'm sorry this happens to you. It happened a lot to me when I was in school and I was never big enough to tell them to feck off. Now I wished I had.

You will find the courage and one day they will get their comeuppance!

My brother has autism, bi-polar and manic depression, he would be so sorry afterwards but the damage would be done. He got medication to deal with it, and is now a lovely lad! He is 6ft 5 and I'm only 5ft 6!

How old are you? Could you not move house by yourself so you can be away and start a fresh? You really need to tell someone about the bullying. They have NO right to do it to you. Who the f*ck do they think they are?

If you are around Merseyside/Lancashire/Cheshire I'd like to meet up with ya :)

No you shouldn't have to toughen up. You shouldn't have to put up with it. I know you are a carer but think about yourself for once :) You are not happy in the position you are in. You should tell someone about whats happening because its not acceptable.

Just wish them under a bus, it usually cheers me up when Im too chicken to confront people.
A nice crush injury where they die a slow and painful death is usually best!!:)
