Bulldog puppy Poops blood

    my 7 months old British bulldog poops blood when out playing with other dogs but not other times how can I stop it

    How are his stools when he isn't out with other dogs:)

    You say it only happens when he is playing with other dogs and the vet suspects it could be stress related. Perhaps he finds playing with other dogs stressful and this is causing his tummy problems. I would suggest not letting him play with other dogs for a while and see if it settles down. Not all dogs enjoy play and depending on the other dogs involved can feel overwhelmed and stressed by it. However it isn't normal for a puppy to poop blood so I would really expect at least some further investigation. Has he been on any medication recently such as anti inflammatory drugs?

    Vet didn’t seem to worried as it only happens when playing other dogs

    Then I agree with @rottiepointerhouse . Keep him away from other dogs and see if the problem goes away.

    Fresh blood on the stool is an indication of irritation in the colon.. If it continues, after you eliminate the play with other dogs, I would seek a second opinion.

    Thanks I have done this before and he’s fine so just wanted to no if this will stop on it’s own or will he never be able to play with other dogs
