Any advice for brushing a puppies teeth? Do you brush your dogs teeth or use the dentastixs and dry kibble?
What brush/toothpaste do you recommend? :)

I've found Dentastix to be a complete waste of time as it takes a few seconds to eat them.

I brush my dog's teeth about 3 times a week. I use Virbac pet toothpaste and softish brushes.

Logic Oral Hygiene Gel is good if you really want to go for a toothpaste, however, in my experience raw bones do a much better job at cleaning teeth. Kibble won't do anything and dentastix are full of rubbish, so I'd stay well clear!

My beautiful Daisy used to watch me cleaning my teeth with the electric toothbrush ( I used baby toothbrush on her) so one day I got a new brush head and gave it a go on her ! Never looked back, she quite happily stood while I whizzed round with the electric toothbrush no problem. Sadly, now Daisy is no more, I now have to try the same trick with my upcoming pup at some time in the future and hope for the same response.
As others have said don't bother with those Dentastix things I always thought they made dogs teeth worse!
